Weekday time restriction on the use of Concessionary bus passes has been lifted across our network for the duration of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) emergency. All ENCTS passes will be accepted 24/7 from 21st March 2020
The situation that we find ourselves in a country is unprecedented, and with many fewer people travelling in line with Government advice, and some staff self- isolating, we have been forced to introduce emergency Covid-19 timetables.
We continue to work hard to provide services that meet the basic needs of our customers, and especially key workers, throughout these very difficult times. Please check back regularly to keep updated on service amendments.
We wish to show our support & recognition to our gallant, dedicated NHS staff who are taking care of us during these worrying times. Until further notice, simply show your NHS ID card to your bus driver and you will not be charged for your journey. All of us here at Stephensons join the entire nation with our support and affection for you.
Our emergency timetables will be operated for as long as necessary or possible. Please be aware that further changes may be made at short notice – we will endeavour to keep our website updated with the latest news, so please check back regularly. If you need to contact us – please use email in the first instance, as our phones are very busy.
Current service patterns are as follows:
Peak times services to schools are running where they are needed and used by the children of key workers. Many routes are being combined to reflect lower passenger numbers while retaining key links.

As the situation evolves, we will continue to keep you updated with any changes to our timetables, which will be published, in the first instance, on our website. It may become difficult to keep our real-time information up-to-date on our app so please keep checking this page on our website for the latest information.
The health and safety of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority.
In response to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK, we would like to reassure passengers that we are maintaining extensive cleaning regimes and following the latest government advice. We are continuing to run services to support our communities.
We are following the latest advice from Public Health England, the National Health Service, the World Health Organisation and transport industry bodies.
We have introduced enhanced cleaning procedures in our operations and are encouraging our colleagues to wash their hands at regular intervals. Buses circulate air every time it comes to a bus stop and most of our buses also have windows that can be opened at any time.
Many customers have asked if we still accept cash bus fares during this time and we can confirm we do, however where possible we actively encourage you to use contactless or mobile payments on buses with this facility. (Contactless on Suffolk services & Village Link, 59, 60, 301, 590)
As the situation evolves, we will continue to engage with government, follow the guidance from public health bodies, and provide advice and updates to you on our services.
