ROUTES 417 and 418

Route 417 will start in Rayne as it usually does and travel as normal as far as Bran End, here it will turn toward Gt Dunmow, Dunmow to Thaxted and then past Gt Sampford toward Radwinter. Unfortunately, this leaves Lindsell and beyond unserved.  Route 417 passengers from Lindsell and Great Bardfield should, where possible,  make their way to join the 418 which will depart from outside the Coop store at 07:31, any passengers from Finchingfield will need to board the 419 at its usual time of 07:35 app.

Route 418 will start its journey at 07:31 in Great Bardfield itself and then have to come back to St. Sailing. From there the only practical route to get to Finchingfield will be via Braintree and Wethersfield. Undoubtedly, this will impact significantly on departure times from Finchingfield onward. We estimate a minimum of 30 minutes. We\'d suggest appropriate, warm clothing.

These arrangements will remain in place for the duration of the emergency road closure.

We\'re very sorry for this disruption which unfortunately is beyond our control.

Due to road closures by ECC the following service changes will apply for the week Monday 9th – Friday 13th January.

Service D1 will run Maldon – Steeple at normal times. There will be no service beyond Steeple to St Lawrence or Bradwell.

Service D4 will run Burnham/Southminster – Tillingham Square. There will be no service beyond Tillingham to Bradwell.   We will attempt to run the 0626,0706 and 0750 journeys from Bradwell since the road closure is not due to commence until 0800. Similarly we will attempt to run the 1630 ex Burnham and the 1742 & 1837 ex Southminster as the road is due to re-open at 1700.   Note that is it unlikely the journeys on D4 to Ormiston Rivers Academy will be able to serve Bradwell though we will try to do so if allowed through.  The first pick up/set down will be Tillingham.

Apologies for the inconvenience and short notice – this matter is completely outside our control.

Due to a closure of the southern end of Little Wakering Road during the week commencing the 24th October, our 14 bus will divert along Barrow Hall Road and Southend Road.

The closure will cause delays to the timetable, Coronation Close will not be served.

Passengers who board at Coronation Close should make their way to the stop on Little Wakering Road which is close to the parade of shops.

This diversion will remain in place for the duration of the road closure, only.

For the duration of the Station Road closure, it is with regret that we will be unable to serve Little Dunmow.

Buses in either direction will have to turn at the Baynard Road junction. They will wait for the scheduled departure time there.

The works are scheduled to commence on the 25th August and a planned to continue for a period of 6 weeks.

We are sorry for the disruption, however, the road closure is beyond our control.

Details of the traffic order can be found here

Due to Roadworks in Dengie area there are delays on our services. A diversion is in place due to Howe Green being shut which is delaying our service and the roadworks in Latchingdon are also causing severe delays in both directions.

We do apoligise but this is beyond our control.

There are currently gas main repairs in South Drive, Warley.

Until  access is resumed our bus will need to divert along Mount Crescent and Hartswood Road then onto Woodman Road as usual.

We are sorry for any inconvenience but we have no control over this matter.

Roadworks started in Witham on Monday March 31 at the junction of Spinks Lane, Howbridge Road and Hatfield Road and the temporary traffic lights are causing very serious delays to buses 38, 39 and 90.  At present we cannot see any way to divert to avoid the works.  We therefore regret that buses may be running up to 15 minutes late.

We apologise for the inconvenience and delays but these are totally outside of our control.  We understand the work is scheduled to take 16 weeks!
