Due to the closure of Howbridge Road and/or Laurence Avenue for roadworks, bus 90 will be diverted from Saturday July 30th until Saturday August 6th.

Buses will instead run along the full length of Maltings Lane and then into Witham along Hatfield Road from the Jack & Jenny stop.

We are sorry, but this means that there will not be any buses along Howbridge Road and Laurence Avenue whilst the roadworks are taking place.  We apologise for the inconvenience but the circumstances are beyond our control.

UPDATE AUG 15:  the work has not yet been completed, buses are still on diversion.

Due to the closure of Church Street where it joins the A131 at the Four Releet from August 1st for about 12 days for roadworks, buses 38 and 38A will be diverted.

Within Braintree they will run to the usual route including serving Deanery Gardens but then will divert at Deanery Hill via Church Lane, past Braintree College, Convent Hill and Broad Road to rejoin the usual route at the Four Releet on the A131.

We are sorry, but this means that there will not be any buses through Bocking along Church Street whilst the roadworks are taking place.  We apologise for the inconvenience but the circumstances are beyond our control.

We are experiencing delays and short notice diversions to various bus services today due to flooding after last night\\\'s storm.  Services in the Maldon area are particularly affected, including the 90 and 288, with services D1 & D2 getting back to normal.

Please bear with us, your drivers are doing the best they can in difficult circumstances.

Our buses in Braintree will be subject to delays and diversions as a result of road closures for Braintree Carnival on Saturday June 11th.

The procession starts at about 1400 at Lakes Rd and goes via Railway St, Manor Rd, High St, Pierrefitte Way, Atheric Rd, Panfield Lane to finish about 1600.

There will be other closures for the set up and finish, Lakes Rd will probably be closed from midday until 1500.

All 38/38A buses from midday onwards until 1500 will run between Braintree and Witham via Rose hill in both directions.  From about 1430hrs buses may need to pick up from the front of the bus park on South Street if Manor Street is blocked.

From 1510-1640, 38/38A to Halstead will run via Bradford Street and Braintree College in both directions and will not serve the High Street.

Service 21 will operate via Rose Hill in both directions during the above hours.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these closures which are outside of our control.

Buses heading to Saffron Walden will use Wendens Road, ( the shared cycleway)

Buses will be running, but significant delays are inevitable.

All on-line orders received up to this morning (Tuesday May 31) have been despatched and the on-line sales portal is no longer accepting orders, as we cannot be sure any further sales can be posted to arrive in time.
