London Link Express is a regular luxury coach service* from Stephensons, running between Rochford, Southend and London, via the A13, Pitsea, Stanford-Le-Hope, and Grays.

London Link Express runs four times per day in each direction, Mondays to Fridays. You'll find friendly, helpful drivers, dedicated to taking good care of you, and doing all they can to get you to your destination on time.

London Link Express may offer first class travel, but it comes at an economy class price! And there's no need to book - simply pay the driver on the coach.

Commuting to London?
London Link Express runs direct to the City, Embankment and Victoria. There are four coaches arriving in London before 9.00am, and four departing after 4.50pm, Mondays to Fridays. So forget parking at the station and changing to the tube in town. Our Weekly, Monthly or Annual CityCard means you can save over a thousand pounds a year on the comparable train fare - and you get a seat too!

Peak Return tickets are valid for a return journey on the same day, or if unused, a return journey on the following working day (a peak return ticket issued on a Friday will be valid for a return journey on the following Monday)

National Concessionary Passes are available for free travel on the London Link Express service on journeys from London. They are not valid on morning journeys to London, for which a fare must be paid

Withdrawal of Commuter Services X1 & X10

It is with deep regret that we have taken the decision to withdraw the X1 & X10 services after operation on Friday 11th July 2008.

Over the last couple of years we have been faced with huge increases in costs, particularly fuel. Changes to EU drivers hours in April 2007 meant that we had to start the X1 from Stanford-le-hope instead of from Southend. The London low emission zone, commencing from July, would mean an investment of many hundreds of thousands of pounds for newer coaches. Increased reliability on both rail lines has contributed to a decline in passengers and therefore revenue. The introduction of the national concessionary bus pass scheme from April 2008 has further reduced revenue.

The decision has not been an easy one. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support over the years, and hope that alternative travel plans can be made. Monthly season tickets will not be issued after 12th June, and annual tickets will be refunded (pro rata) as at 11th July.
