Stephensons of Essex and their sister company NIBS Buses run bus services across Essex and Southend, and in West Suffolk and parts of Cambridgeshire, with sales of around £15m and 130 buses.
We are looking for a Commercial Officer to join our small commercial team based in Boreham, near Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved behind the scenes, analysing passenger and revenue data, monitoring bus punctuality, assisting in compiling tenders, helping with bus and driver duty compilation, liaising with managers and supervisors, and dealing with the multitude of other tasks involved in running a busy bus operation.
Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate analytical, organisational and IT skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. Experience in scheduling is preferred but not essential.
An understanding of public transport timetables and good geographical awareness is also vital, as well as a current car driving licence.
