Please be advised that a diversion will be in place from the 4th of August – 22nd on the route 60. We have received information from Telelink on behalf of CityFibre that they will be conducted road works and ultimately closing South Street on the dates provided.
The Diversion route will be as follows:
From Southend Travel Centre to Bradleys Way will be normal service. The bus will continue onwards on past Rochford Station. The service will continue onto the roundabout at Dalys Road taking a right and following Dalys Road past the old Rochford Hospital and taking a left at the Rose and Crown pub onto Weir Pond Road where the service will continue as normal.
Upon returning to Southend from Canewdon, Paglesham and Wallasea the service will continue onto Stambridge Road onto East Street and will meet the road closure, turning right onto West Street through Rochford Square. The service will then continue through to Bradleys Way taking a left and continuing normal line of service to Southend Travel Centre
All bus stops along the diversion route will be observed throughout the road closure.
