Bus Cleaning Operative/Vehicle Shunter

Duties & responsibilities:

Sweep/Mop the vehicles to a high standard

Carry out interior cleaning as per daily roster, including disinfecting surfaces, ledges, seats, windows, dashboard, steering wheel etc.

Daily exterior cleaning to be undertaken using a portable motorised machine and pressure washer. (training provided though experience in the use of heavy machinery would be preferred)

Manoeuvre vehicles safely around the yard and arrange them following a specific parking plan ready for the next day. (Standard Cat B (car) driving licence required)

Adhere to all health and safety regulations including manual handling and COSHH

Monday to Friday

13:30-22:00 & 14:30-23:00 (Rotational basis)

Minimum 40 hrs/week (overtime opportunities available)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
